Nick Webster has been in the industry for eighteen years and prior to Nine, Nick held senior management positions at Norweb, ACC and Daisy, eventually joining Nine Group in 2009. He also ran his own reseller business for a few years before exiting, so brings with him a true understanding from both sides of the fence!
In August 2014 Nick was appointed Managing Director of Nine Wholesale and is now focused on ways to ensure our partners are receiving the service and support they need, as well as leading edge technology. Nick also brings with him a wealth of experience in acquisitions, having been involved with more than 20 acquisitions in the last 6 years alone.
Nick is married and has three children, including Josh Webster, our Nine sponsored racing driver! A love of motor sport runs through the family and partners of Nine Wholesale regularly get a chance to watch Josh in action.
Mark began his career with Lloyds Bank, before selling office equipment and telephone systems. He then joined one of his customers to help them set up a reseller division. Later, he managed a portfolio of customer and independent accounts for network supplier Telia – one of which was Nine Group’s Marketing Director, Mark Saunders!
Following a spell at Energis, Mark joined Nine Wholesale (then Club Communications) in 2006. He now works as Operations Manager and is responsible for our Product Support and Bureau Billing teams. Mark believes passionately in supporting the channel’s long-term sustainability through the best products, services, training and thought leadership.
Amy first started working at Club Communications when she was 15, on a work experience placement! She returned to us five years later in a customer services role in our WLR team and quickly became the knowledgeable, bubbly voice on the phone our partners love. Amy now leads a team of five, mentoring and training our newer members of the team while working on priority cases. Her knowledge of Openreach’s systems and processes is second to none, and it’s clear to see her experience and knowledge being passed down to her team and colleagues. Amy’s approach is to always provide honest and clear guidance and support, which is just one of the reasons our partners all speak so highly of her.
Jade has been with Nine since 2010, after previously working for Abbey National and Nationwide. Starting out as a Customer Service Advisor in the Billing team, Jade now leads our critical Bureau Billing Team – a fast paced environment where her eye for detail is of utmost importance. Jade and her team support our Bureau customers to ensure bill runs are reliable, timely and accurate and are on hand to answer any questions or concerns.
As a Nine Wholesale partner, we provide you with your own personal Channel Development Manager (CDM) to ensure you have the support you need to grow your business seamlessly. With extensive product knowledge and industry experience, you’ll always be in the best possible hands.
Mike spent eighteen years in the steel industry before moving to telecoms in 1995, when de-regulation started. Since then he’s worked for a dealership, started his own reseller business and worked for a reseller, so it’s fair to say Mike has experience from many different perspectives! Mike joined the Nine family in 2007 to start our Wholesale Channel, and has been providing hands-on invaluable support ever since. In his current role, Mike bridges the all-important gap between Operations and Sales, to ensure our partners are receiving the highest possible service at every level and is always on hand to provide advice, training and guidance to partners.
Angela’s telecoms career began at BT provisioning data orders, before finding her love for sales and account management. Angela has been with Nine Wholesale since 2012, previously working with Paul and Andrea at CommsOne. Having developed an excellent working relationship with her partners, Angela’s strength is in fully understanding her partners – their needs, their wants, their frustrations – and doing everything she can to support them.
Since starting in telecoms in 1997, Anna has worked for many different companies within the carrier space, before joining Nine Wholesale in 2007. Anna’s tenacious and inquisitive nature enables her to provide a consistently high level of service to her partners, frequently going above and beyond to make sure a partner has what they need to secure business. A particular part of her role that Anna enjoys is helping partners through the minefield of next gen products and solutions to make sure they’re comfortable with the technologies and are confident enough to take the solution to market.
Kate graduated in 2013 from Nottingham University with a BA Hons in Business, and joined Nine Wholesale in November 2013 as part of our Sales Graduate Scheme. Kate has quickly immersed herself in the world of telecoms – and jargon! – and is building up great relationships already.
